Our founder Mimi Lee worked for the most successful Matchmaker in America, The Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger. While appreciating their education, and strong personality of Patti, the service had a purpose to only serve America’s 1%, Patti became widely known as “The Millionaire Matchmaker” debuting a long-running series of namesake on Bravo TV.

Mimi came from a more humble background, Florida born and raised. Her Mom struggled to make ends meet raising Mimi and her brother; still, her mother instilled true southern values of being polite, kind, and sunny. These fundamentals are the essence of Mimi, which reflect throughout all services at My Top Matchmaker.

Mimi, while working for the Millionaire Matchmaker in Los Angeles dreamed that one day she would return to Florida and be able to take care of her mom as she aged. She decided to go for it by opening her more modest version of helping people who wanted to receive millionaire-style services but offer it at a fraction of the cost of high-end matchmakers, who had already cornered the market anyway.

Mimi always believed that the vast majority of men and women keep it real to their hearts, and simply want to find someone special they like for the long term.

It’s a simple thought, which is the way Mimi wanted to keep things, she started My Top Matchmaker on a shoestring, but with dogged determination, My Top Matchmaker became the clear winner for Southwest Florida’s selective singles.
